"Faith it till you make it"

It isn’t easy being unhappy. It takes more energy being troubled than being festive. How are your peers finding happiness? Are they all looking for a better job, fittest body, or a peaceful mind? Well, forget about them.

What are you faithing?

Everyone has goals and dreams. You must ask yourself a question every month or so to make sure you are staying on track. Challenge and examine yourself. If you can't see the end, keep going.

We all use the expression "Fake it till you make it,' but I want to introduce "Faith it till you make it." Faithing it means you use your faith to get you to believe what you can't see. Don't fake it because being faking it doesn't guarantee growth. Faithing is an action and its either you do it or not. "Faithing it till you make it," means to apply your faith to your dream or goal. Even if you don't feel like believing you believe. Even when it looks like the chips are down, you use your faith. Be faithful and use your confidence in God.

So I ask you again, what are you faithing?

I can tell you I am pushing my body to the limit. Monday I ran 3 miles and a lower body workout. Tuesday, I did a full body workout. Wednesday I ran a mile and additional 30-minute workout. Thursday I did balance, core, and shoulders. Friday I did core and a full body workout. Saturday I finally rested. I did all of this on top of my tennis workouts. The point of my rant is to show you my consistency even though my body seems to be in disarray. My legs felt like they wanted to fall off. My body was uncomfortable, but deep down I put my faith to work. I knew my hope would get my body feeling better the next day. I knew my faith would make me powerful in my time of weakness. My faith will scream louder than my headaches. I refused to take Advil, but I drank my turmeric and cinnamon tea. I am activating my faith and not my fake.

Will you try your faith today?
