Would you go into debt for your dream?

Dreams, destinies, visions or paths are real. When is enough, enough? When is it safe to say I will find another path in life? What I thought was my path either has come to an end or with my circumstances can’t be accomplished. Giving up isn’t what most people want to do, but what if that’s the only option one sees?

Some people take time off and can’t seem to fix what looks like a problem. What should these people do? Sometimes when we think or see no way, we lose focus. Usually, that’s when we are the strongest and great miracles will happen, but how long will we wait?

What are all the things you will do to meet your goal? I know you believe you were created to accomplish this purpose so what I might think is absurd could very well be a no-brainer for you. How far would you take the risk? We would all put hours upon hours into our craft, but would you go into debt for your dream? What are your thoughts?

Is Debt Killing Your Dreams?.png

Yes, I’d go in debt for my dream. The decision is easy. I know I will be able to pay the loan back. This is an investment for my future. How will I get funding? I have a lot of expenses. I will never know how far I could go with my dream if I don't get the money. Besides, no one is going to help me. All I need is the money now. I can't live with knowing I didn't try hard enough.

NO DEBT.jpg

No, I will not let my dream put me in debt. What about my morals, my God, what about my conscious? God doesn’t believe in debt. What if I don’t get the money back?  How will I pay it back? Besides, nothing in this world is free and the interest on the loan will be high. Any dream I need to get money I don't have isn’t meant for me. I think I need to change my dream.

How many of you have thought about both options?

How many of you would pack it up if it gets too overbearing? The challenging part is needing what you don't have. Social media and the news are always saying you can borrow money or put it on a credit card. We are being programmed into believing that loans are acceptable. To some they are and to others, they aren’t.

Just do one last thing before completing that paper or signing that contract, make sure you are fully committed. Make sure you know the pros and the cons. Loans are easy to accept and hard to pay off. Don’t move too fast. If you can’t afford it or you’re coming up short, maybe take the extra time to weigh your options. Make peace with your decisions.
